This was a really fun party we did with a group of ladies. And once we decided on a party theme the creative juices just started to flow. My friend and I invited ten ladies and hosted a dinner party in the living room of my home with tables, chairs and linen table cloths just like an Italian Restaurant. We had a dinner menu standing on a tripod at the front door with Italian Music playing in the background. I hired my 13 year old son to host and greet the guests as they arrived and my 9 year old daughter was the coat check girl. We even had a few good looking gentleman waiters take our orders and show us the wine list. I promise I can’t remember who had more fun me, the birthday girl or the kids. It was truly a smashing good time! And this birthday party idea was quite the creative party theme idea that we will remember forever. Another birthday party idea we did was when a group of about ten ladies decided to take one of the girls out for dinner to celebrate her birthday. Realizing that every girl would want to go out on her birthday someone suggested a birthday party club. These ladies got together and drew names to host in there home a birthday party for the person whom they drew. So, for example, if I drew Patty's name when her birthday arrived I would host a party in honor of her and each girl in the birthday party club(not including the birthday girl) would give the hostess ten dollars to pay for the party. It was a lot of fun looking forward to each girl's birthday and most of all was very cost effective way of celebrating and still making that person feel very special. Oh Yes, and the rule is that you must always pay your ten dollars even if you cannot attend the party so that each girl gets the same amount spent towards there birthday. Another creative party theme idea was when we had what we called the party friends club. This also requires that the same group of people that wish to celebrate together do so on a consistent basis. This is very similar to the birthday party club except we do not celebrate a birthday we just have parties once a month. This time everyone draws for a month of the year. For example, if I drew July then I would be responsible for hosting a party at my home in July. Everyone would pay me ten dollars for that party for the month to spend on anything such as decorations, food, drink or invitations. And of course, as always, if they are not able to attend they are required to pay there ten dollars. The best party about this type of party was that we could choose any time of party theme such as the forth of July. Creative party theme ideas can go on and on. To determine what kind you like start with which month you are having the event. If it is January then a Super bowl theme is a great idea even if you aren't watching a game. And any time during the fall is a great excuse to have a college party theme. If it is football season then have your guests can choose the team or college of there choice and dress according to the team colors. Always have pom poms, confetti and a football for decorations.
